The beach of Las Terrenas is located on the northwestern part of the Samaná Peninsula. Here you can enjoy a balanced combination of sand, ocean and shade provided by the coconut and almond trees along the beach.  

There are many restaurants and bars, most of which are owned by Europeans, especially French and American.
